The Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, invites all 2024 UTME/Direct Entry (DE) candidates to apply for its screening exercise for the upcoming academic session.

Application Period: Registration started on 19th August 2024 and will close on 30th September 2024.

Application Fee: The fee for the screening exercise is N2,000, payable through REMITA.

Cut-Off Mark: Applicants must score 180 or above in their UTME to be eligible.

Mode of Registration: Candidates are required to complete the registration process online.

Who Can Apply?

UTME Candidates: Those who chose ABU, Zaria as their first choice and scored 180 or higher in the 2024 UTME.

Direct Entry (DE) Candidates: DE applicants only need to pay the registration fee and upload their results.

Visit the Official Portal

Go to ABU’s official portal or visit the university website at https://abu.edu.ng.

Make Payment

Pay the registration fee of N2,000 via REMITA using any of these options:

Point of Sale (POS) machines at designated campus offices.

Online payment through the REMITA platform.

Generating a REMITA Retrieval Reference (RRR) slip and completing the payment at any Nigerian bank.

Complete the Registration

Fill out the online form on the portal.

Upload the required documents, including your UTME result printout.
